This is Essy.
On Saturday, my mother and my father and I had an impromptu adventure. We were walking through Central Square. There were two people on the sidewalk telling families about a free African dance and culture festival. They said we should go inside and up stairs. So we tried it out wand it was so cool. We went up stairs and were greeted by a man and a woman. The man taught us songs and showed us how to dance. It was a lot of fun. We did not stay for very long because we had other things we needed to do. Since it was going on for two days, my father and I decided to go back the next day. On Sunday we went again and stayed for several hours. We learned about Senegal, about the country and the people. We learned several dances and the clapping to go with them. There was a drummer. It was a lot of fun. I want to go again next year
